When we launched PheedLoop’s redesigned Event Portal earlier this year, the response was overwhelmingly positive. Event organizers loved the intuitive design and streamlined navigation. But at PheedLoop, we know the event tech landscape is always evolving, and so are the expectations of event professionals. That’s why we’re excited to introduce two new enhancements that take your Event Portal to the next level: custom pages and role-based access controls.
According to the AMEX GBT Meetings & Events 2025 Global Forecast:
- 24% of event professionals will prioritize technological advancements
- 21% seek simplified data collection
- 18% focused on improving stakeholder adoption
The message is clear: event management software must be powerful, intuitive, and customizable. As we’re building the Event Portal, our team at PheedLoop has been gathering feedback from users and implementing adjustments and new features to meet evolving demands.
What’s New
Fully Custom Pages: Personalized Experiences, Your Way
With the ability to create custom pages directly in the Event Portal, organizers can now go beyond default layouts and craft specialized pages that fulfill the unique requirements for their events. You can even set a custom slug for each page, making it easy to share and navigate. Customization options include embedding your own HTML content and CSS code, giving you full control over the style and structure of the page.
This flexibility allows you to deliver content that speaks directly to your audience, be it attendees, speakers, sponsors, or exhibitors.
For attendees, this means less clutter and more relevant information. For organizers, it’s a chance to elevate their event planning game with curated messaging and design.

Role-Based Access: Clean UX by Design
User Type restrictions can now be applied to default pages within the Event Portal—such as Schedule Selection and Seat Selection. This update was driven by feedback from organizers who needed a way to prevent unnecessary confusion for user groups like exhibitors, who often don’t need to interact with features meant for attendees.
By hiding specific pages based on User Types, organizers can avoid issues like users mistakenly registering for sessions or taking up limited spots that should be reserved for others. This ensures the experience remains clear, relevant, and streamlined for everyone involved.
Paired with PheedLoop’s Membership Management, this feature allows for a more intuitive portal experience by minimizing support requests, reducing clutter, and delivering content only to those who truly need it.

Streamlined Event Management for Organizers
These updates aren’t just about visual polish, they’re a direct response to how real event professionals work. Organizers now have more granular control, reducing back-and-forth communication and increasing confidence that every user is seeing exactly what they should.
From customizing access to specific pages, to updating content in real time without needing technical support, these tools empower planners to be more agile and self-sufficient. Changes can be made on the fly, whether you're updating a speaker information or launching a sponsor landing page, all without disrupting the broader event flow.
As a result, event planners using PheedLoop can create events faster, collaborate better, and provide a more polished experience across the board, making it one of the most versatile and powerful event management software options available.
